QiJi is a personal stay journal for logging where you slept, which platform you booked through, and your per-night cost — then revisiting stays on the calendar and map. It is not a booking or OTA app.

If you have questions or feedback, reach out via email below.

We typically reply within a few business days.

How do I add a stay?

On the Records tab, tap + in the top right. Choose a booking platform, city, hotel name, check-in/out dates, and optionally total price for per-night cost. Saved stays appear in the list, calendar, and map.

How do I try sample data?

Open Settings and tap Load sample data to preview populated list, calendar, and map screens. Sample data is stored locally and can be deleted like any other stay.

Where is my data stored?

All stays are stored locally on your device (UserDefaults). Nothing is uploaded to our servers; v1.0.0 does not use iCloud. Deleting the app removes local data — note that v1.0 has no export yet.

Does the app need location permission?

No. QiJi does not read device GPS. Map pins come from cities you pick, POI search, or optional online geocoding when you type a city or hotel name.

What do platform icons mean?

Booking-platform icons identify the source you select for a stay. They do not imply official partnership or booking on your behalf.

Appearance and language

In Settings, choose Light, Dark, or System appearance. The UI follows your iOS system language — switch in Settings → General → Language & Region, then reopen the app.
